First served in leadership positions the public sector: Malaria Eradication Program at zone zones and HQ levels, Ministry of Health, National Children's Commission and Office of the National Committee for Central Planning/MoPED. Later joined the UNICEF Ethiopia country office as head of the planning, monitoring and evaluation section. Now works as a senior health development and systems consultant and international conferences and exhibitions organizer and manager. Served for number of CSOs as founder, board chair, chair of technical working groups and award committees.
