Founded in 1954 as the Public Health College and Training Center, UoG has grown into one of Ethiopia’s premier institutions for medical and health sciences education. For decades, it has produced physicians, specialists, researchers, public health leaders, and academic scholars who serve not only Ethiopia but global community.
