Dr. Mequannt Marie Yismaw, I am an assistant professor in Natural Resource and Environmental Management. My research areas of interest are climate change, agroforestry, forestry, natural resources, environmental problems, renewable energy, forest dynamics, climate change adaptation in agriculture, and the role of agroforestry in biodiversity conservation and carbon storage. I am proficient in R and ArcGIS for data analysis and modeling. I have published 9 articles on climate issues and agroforestry in Ethiopia in internationally reputable journals and am passionate about promoting sustainable agroforestry practices.

I am a Medical Microbiologist, lecturer, and researcher with a strong interest in advancing health science education and improving healthcare outcomes through research and laboratory science. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Sciences in 2012 and earned my Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Microbiology from the University of Gondar in 2015. Currently, I am involved in teaching, research, and academic service in the field of medical microbiology.
