I was born in south wollo, Dessie (Amhara region, Ethiopia), grew up and attended my school at small town in Southern Gondar (Estie, Mekane Eyesus) and I went to Medical school (Gondar University, College of Medicine and Health science). I graduated from University of Gondar with distinction after six years of medical education in July 2016 GC.
After two years of work experience as General Practitioner and Lecturer @Debre Tabor University and Mettu Universities, I attended medical Specialty training in Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine @St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College.
I had 4 + years of experiences----in both teaching and clinical activities.
I have made several articles in Medicine and published in different international journals .
I had also wrote an ECG interpretation book (i.e. YH's ECG Interpretation Tutorial).Currently, working as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) at Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. Serving as vice head(academic coordinator) of the department.
In addition to my experience as a clinician, academician and researcher, I also involved as a leader in Hospital reform activities like Health System Bottleneck Focused Reform (SBFR), Evidence based patient care (EBC), leading in preparation of Facility level Guidelines and Protocols and served as adult intensive care unit case manager (ICU Director) at Debre Tabor Comprehensive Specialized Hospital.
