My name is Liyew Agenagnew, and I am currently a faculty member in the Faculty of Medical Science at the Institute of Health, Jimma University, in Ethiopia. In November 2016, I graduated from Jimma University with an MSC degree, specializing in "Integrated Clinical and Community Mental Health (ICCMH)". Before that, I earned a BSc degree in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia, in July 2013.
In my current role as an Assistant Professor at Jimma University, I am responsible for teaching psychiatric courses, advising both undergraduate and master's students, revising curricula, providing clinical service at the psychiatric unit, conducting research, contributing to community service projects, and serving as a reviewer for prestigious international journals.
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to problem-solving research, both independently and collaboratively with my colleagues. I have published more than 25 research articles in reputable journals. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience by participating in various research conferences, workshops, and leadership activities.
