        My name is Agmuasie Belay, an Electrical and Computer Engineering professional with more than seven years of experience as educator, researcher, trainer and mentor. I specialize in machine learning for control systems, IoT applications, and embedded system design. My passion lies in creating impactful, hands-on learning experiences that inspire students and foster their growth in STEM fields.

        With a strong research background, I have published work on neural network-based flux estimation and hybrid sliding mode torque control of induction motors. My work also extends to leveraging machine learning for agricultural applications to maximize crip yields and collaborating on plant disease detection systems using Python and TensorFlow.

        Beyond technical expertise, I am deeply committed to education and training. I have designed aanddelivered life skills, digital skills, employability and job readiness training programs for university staff and students, with a focus on fostering soft skills that are crucia in the evolving job landscape.
