My Name is Moges Maru, graduated from the University of Gondar in Master of Veterinary Parasitology in July 2019. I have been working as an academic staff member since September 2019. I have won two internal research grants (one as PI and one as Co-I). Additionally, I was serving as the head of the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology at CVMAS, UoG from August 16, 2022 - August 25, 2025.
Graduate of GCMS in 1999 in MD. Served UoG in the Department of Internal Medicine as Gp and later as internist (2008). Started the internal medicine residency program and served as the program director for the first five years (2011-2016). Also worked as principal investigator for several clinical trials at the Leishmaniases Research and Treatment Center (2010-2017). Established the drug resistance TB treatment program (2010). Adjunct academic staff since 2019 after leaving for the US. Currently, associate professor of medicine at University of Washington, Seattle.
