With over seven years of progressive academic and administrative experience, he has demonstrated leadership continuity—serving as department head, acting dean, and now dean—while advancing academic excellence through program expansion, high-quality teaching, and capacity-building trainings. He teaches and designs courses in Artificial Intelligence, Project Management, and Machine Learning, and has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research works. Dr. Worku is a dedicated researcher with publications in reputable journals indexed in Scopus and SCIE, focusing on deep learning, recommender systems, and sentiment analysis.
